1. Nuovo evento IPN in collaborazione con l’Istituto Italiano di Cultura di Amsterdam (Attenzione questo evento è stato rimandato)
Technology transfer tra Italia ed Olanda: due esempi concreti, 13 Giugno alle ore 19:00. È con grande piacere che vi invitiamo ad un evento in collaborazione con l’Istituto Italiano di Cultura di Amsterdam, che è anche il luogo dove si svolgerà questo interessante incontro. Ringraziamo la Direttrice dell’Istituto, Dott.ssa Carmela Callea, per aver gentilmente invitato il gruppo IPN e per dare seguito a questa bella e proficua collaborazione. Questo incontro si terrà in inglese, per includere anche il pubblico olandese dell’Istituto, e vedrà la partecipazione di due professionisti italiani (Claudia Basta e Paolo Ruffino) esperti di sostenibilità seppur in ambiti diversi. Il sindaco della cittadina olandese di Midden-Delfland, A.J. Rodenburg, interverrà per spiegare perchè ha voluto adottare il concetto tutto italiano di Cittàslow, uno spinoff di Slow-Food. Non mancate! Le istruzioni per iscriversi sono nella relativa pagina web sul nostro sito. Se siete già iscritti alla mailing list dell’Istituto Italiano di Cultura, riceverete anche da quello le relative istruzioni su come iscrivervi tramite la pagina web dell’evento pubblicata dall’Istituto stesso. 2. Iniziativa IPN per incentivare lo sviluppo delle startup italiane in Olanda

3. Simposio IPN su Architetture Marine
Siamo felici di riportare la buona partecipazione e grande soddisfazione per il Simposio IPN sulle Architetture Marine, organizzato in collaborazione con TU Delft e l’Istituto MARIN di Wageningen. Si ringraziano tutti i partecipanti, i relatori e gli organizzatori di questo bell’evento, terminato con un drink di networking gentilmente offerto al gruppo IPN dal MARIN, nella persona di Enrico Della Valentina, che ci ha anche annunciato che sarà un membro della commissione scientifica dell’importante NAV2018, una conferenza internazionale organizzata a Trieste da ATENA (Associazione Italiana di Tecnica Navale). This Spring the Italian Professionals Netherlands networking group has plenty of news for you. Look at the webpages listed below to discover new events and initiatives:
 
1. Technology transfer between Italy & The Netherlands: two real examples. This event will be held in English at the Italian Cultural Institute in Amsterdam on 13 June at 19:00. We thank the Director of the Italian Cultural Institute in Amsterdam Carmela Callea for the kind invite and collaboration. This event will be split into two parts. The first part will introduce us to the Italian experience and in particular to the effective CittàSlow model. The Mayor of Midden-Delfland, A.J. Rodenburg, will introduce us to the topic with a brief presentation of his personal experience of this Italian model. In the second part, we will talk about the use of bicycles and analyze its related benefits with an eye to the relevant Dutch experience. 2. IPN initiative to help Italian Startups in The Netherlands
IPN is working at another initiative that aims to support the Italian startup companies in The Netherlands. Note that this initiative is reserved to Italian speaker startup members. For more information, please write to ipn.lab@gmail.com

3. Symposium on Marine Architecture
The TU Delft university hosted a very successful IPN Symposium on Marine Architectures that demonstrated the added value of the Italian creativity and professionality in the marine engineering and research fields. On 19 May at 17:00 we met at Mechanical, Maritime and Materials Engineering Department of TU Delft to watch few interesting presentations. The symposium was followed by a networking drink that took place at the bar located at the ground floor of the same TU Delft building. To see the pictures, please click HERE.
