This is an invitation-only event, due to limited seating.
Please send an email to
info@ipncultura.nl to participate.

IPN is happy to announce that we will celebrate the International Women’s Day (8 March) with a nice cultural event, in collaboration with Alliance Française The Hague.

The event will start at 18:45 with the projection of the Italian movie “C’È ANCORA DOMANI” by Paola Cortellesi at the Filmhuis Den Haag (with English subtitles) and will continue from 21:00 onwards with a post-movie gathering at the Pavlov bar-restaurant (in a reserved room on the first floor), which is located just a few meters away from the Filmhuis.

Please bear in mind you can join both the movie and the following reception, or just the reception at 21:00. The tickets for the movie are selling fast so, if you want to see it, make sure to buy them as soon as possible. If you prefer to join us after the movie, please go directly to the Pavlov bar-restaurant: between 21:00 and 22:00, it will be possible to order food from their standard dinner menu. As usual, everyone will pay for whatever they order directly to the Pavlov staff; similarly, the movie tickets should be bought directly from the Filmhuis website. IPN, who has rented the room for the post-movie event, is NOT asking for any participation fee.

The Italian movie “C’È ANCORA DOMANI”, directed by Paola Cortellesi, not only has achieved box office success (surpassing 20M euros) but it has also ignited a heated public discourse on domestic violence.  For this reason, after the movie, we have invited two exceptional women to kick-off a lively but informal conversation: Hélène Pichon, Directrice de l’Alliance Française The Hague, and Marianna Giacomel, former Executive Producer of the International Film Festival The Hague, active promoter of cross-cultural collaboration among diverse communities within the Netherlands, and driving force behind IPN Cultura.

To recap:

  • WHEN: Friday 8 March
  • AGENDA:
    – 18:45:  Film at the Filmhuis Den Haag
    – 21:00: Post-movie discussion and dinner at the Pavlov with our special guests Hélène Pichon (Directrice de l’Alliance Française de La Haye, Coordinatrice du réseau des AF des Pays-Bas) and Marianna Giacomel (IPN Cultura and former Executive Producer of the International Film Festival The Hague)
  • HOW TO PARTICIPATE: Due to limited seating, the post-movie conversation/dinner at Pavlov is an invitation-only event. Please send an email to info@ipncultura.nl to participate and secure your spot ASAP!
